Life Preserver Placement
Placing life preservers in public locations near water directly supports our mission by:
Providing immediate, life-saving tools in high-risk areas where drownings can occur
Increasing public awareness of water safety—especially in communities with children and individuals on the spectrum
Creating safer environments that give families and caregivers greater peace of mind
Promoting inclusion by acknowledging and addressing the unique safety needs of neurodivergent individuals in public spaces
Every life preserver we install is a visible, accessible reminder of our mission and a step toward preventing another loss like Brady’s.
We're exceeded our mission to install 10 life preservers in public areas near water by the end of 2025 by installing 16 life preservers thanks to our Advocacy Members.
While we're actively identifying potential locations, we’d love to hear from you. If there's a spot in your community where you believe a life preserver could make a difference, let us know!
This year, we hope to build on our first year by installing an additional 20 life preservers, but we need your help! Become an advocacy member here, then check out the map below to see where our current life preservers are, help us identify potential new locations, and Read our blog post about the milestone moment when we placed our initial life preserver at The Pit in Tecumseh, MI, marking the beginning of our mission to promote swim safety and education for individuals on the autism spectrum.
